ABOUT LEGACY IN GRAIN
Legacy in Grain is a small-scale, specialty woodworking business located in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. Specializing in custom, handcrafted dining room tables, Legacy in Grain works exclusively with local hardwood suppliers in order to meet the unique needs of any project. Owner and craftsman Nathan chooses to focus on one table at a time, giving each client his full attention throughout the entire process.

​Seeing a world littered with low-quality goods and meaningless transactions, Nathan found an opportunity to serve his neighbors and surrounding communities… By crafting quality, one-of-a-kind tables and sharing the importance of integrity and connection in the process. And with that, Legacy in Grain was born.

If a handcrafted dining room table reflects both the importance of family and craftsmanship, Nathan is the right person to build it. As a project manager with a background in mechanical engineering, he channels his expertise in every part of the woodworking process — Whether it’s planning, designing, or building. And as both a father and husband, Nathan values getting to know each family he works with.​

Based out of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, Nathan spends his free time with his wife, daughter, and dog. When they’re not at community gatherings through their church, you’ll usually find them outdoors, going on walks or playing disc golf.
