HOW IT WORKS
Sometimes, working with a craftsman to build something really special may seem overwhelming. That's why I've broken down my usual process, step by step. Before you reach out, I recommend going over this so you'll know what to expect!
1
Getting Started
First, please send me an inquiry. Share any details about your space, seating needs, and style preferences, along with your timeline and budget range. If you’re unsure about wood type or finish, that’s perfectly fine. I'm happy to help answer any questions!
2
Discovery Call or Visit
We’ll connect through a short call or an in-person visit. This is where we'll talk through how your table will be used... Everyday meals, kids, gatherings, and the space it needs to fit. From there, we'll start considering the base style, wood species, and discuss what the timeline would look like.
3
Finalizing the Design & Next Steps
Once the design feels right, we'll get all details are finalized (dimensions, base style, wood choice, finish, edge profile, and delivery estimate). Once everything is agreed upon, I ask for a 50% deposit before getting started. The remaining balance will not be due until everything is complete and to your liking!
4
Building Your Table
Next, your table is handcrafted from start to finish. You can choose how involved you’d like to be — I can provide milestone updates, weekly photos, or video updates at each key stage. If any potential issues come up during the build, I will reach out, explain what's happening, and provide options or recommendations in order to move forward.
5
Delivery Day
I will personally deliver, unload and assemble your table if you live within a 30 mile radius of my shop. Once the table is in place, I will do a final inspection, walk you through the piece, answer any questions, and offer some care guidance. Final payment is due at delivery.
6
Staying in Touch
After your table has found its home, you’ll receive a short video capturing the build process. I may check in with you from time to time to make sure everything feels right and give you a chance to ask questions once you've had time to begin using the table.
